This is the first night all week that I've had time to spend at home. Not only have I been getting overtime at work, I've just been kind of a social butterfly.

On Sunday, I went up to Cleveland with Emily and her friend Mandy for some tailgating and the Browns game. This was my second Browns game ever, and it was much more pleasant than the first. It was much better weather-wise, and also the Browns won this time! And in overtime! Very exciting.

On Monday, I went to the local Advance Conference Bible study, meaning my camp friends in the area. I like them a lot.

On Tuesday, my co-worker Ryan played and sang at an open mic night in Akron, so a bunch of us from work went to hear him. He was pretty good, especially considering that he'd never performed in front of a group before. It was fun to hang out with people.

Last night was choir practice, as usual, and the choir director drove me only slightly nuts. There are a lot of things she does that don't make any sense to me.

This Saturday is an SCA event that I'm pretty excited about - Road to Frankfurt!

Did you know that "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" has verses? It's about a girl named Katie Casey who loves baseball. Her young beau wants to take her to a show, but she says no. Instead, she says, "I'll tell you what you can do! Take me out to the ball game..."

My favorite outfielder Grady Sizemore won a Gold Glove Award this year! His first ever! He's the first Indian to win one since 2001. (Does baseball season ever really end? Ha! No! There's always news.)

I bought a new battery for my car after work today, since it wouldn't start when I tried to leave work. Meri had to give it a jump, and I decided this was the last straw. It was acting up last year too, when the weather got cold, so I took it to Auto Zone today. The guy did a test on it, declared it to be bad, and installed a new one. I really hope it starts tomorrow.

It would be easier to go to bed early if my neighbors didn't make noise. Last night at 11:30, the couple next door were being so loud, I actually got out of bed, knocked on their door, and kicked them in the knees. No, okay, I just said that sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep, they're very noisy, and she said they'd try to keep it down. I'm not sure though if she understood that this wasn't the first time they've kept me awake, and I actually want them to be quiet every night. My thought is that doing any loud activities after 10 PM is rude. I didn't tell them that, but is that unreasonable? I don't think so. It's not that hard to turn your TV down, talk softly, and not laugh hysterically. I understand that we have separate apartments and different schedules, but we still live in the same house, right next to each other. I think it's important to be respectful, as our walls are not soundproof.

Here's just something funny I heard today:

A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer.

That stocking stuffer joke is so wrong! LOL!

Glad you're having fun!

And yet I can't help giggling every time I think of it!

We had the quietest neighbors for most of the time we lived here. Then we got new ones. Now the girl sharing our bedroom wall has the loudest voice ever. One night she was all upset about her boyfriend or something, and we could actually hear her conversation through the wall until 3 am. We kept nocking on the wall, but she was to dumb to notice, i guess. It's really annoying.

Another Mitch hedberg, talking about his neighbor nocking on the wall. He'd say "Go around!" as if the guy thought the wall was a door. Lol.

I'm so excited that Grady won the Gold Glove award! He deserved it. :-) Thanks for calling me about it! I also appreciate your calls about the Browns game. So happy you had fun, and that the Browns won!

*hugs*
