It would make sense that as the sun goes down, my apartment gets cooler, right? But it doesn't. It gets hotter. Emily's co-worker has a window air conditioner that she doesn't need anymore, and she's going to give it to me. Isn't that nice? I'm not sure about it though, because I worry about dumb things - like it falling out the window, or my landlords getting mad that I use tons of electricity, or if it will get in the way of the curtains. But if it makes things more bearable in here, I can overlook my worries. I have no idea when I will get it though.

I wonder how long I will be in this apartment. I signed a one-year lease, but after that one year, how long will I stay? I guess with my old apartment, I moved to not only get somewhere else, but also to leave the place I was in. Does that make sense? Here, if there's nowhere else I really want to get to, I don't see any reason to want to leave. But in a year, will there be somewhere else to get to? I just don't know.

After moving, I have a "new" local library. I've been to the Wadsworth library a couple times before, but now it's my local library. At least I already have a Medina County library card, so I won't need to get a new one.

Is your electric bill included in the rent? Nice!!!

I say get it and just use it sparingly. :)

Yeah, electric is included. The rent is more than what I paid at my old place, but I think it all works out about even for me. It is pretty nice.

Using the AC sparingly is my plan. I hope it works. I should be getting the thing on Friday night, so maybe it can be installed on Saturday. :)
