My last game at Jacobs Field
Jan. 11th, 2008 09:23 pmJacobs Field is no more. Welcome to Progressive Field.
Ew... it makes me sick. Why do companies always want to put their names on stuff? They call it advertising, but I call it a really good reason to hate them.
We kind of knew the change was coming, but I was hoping they'd put it off for a long, long time. Now, it's going to be Progressive Field for at least the next sixteen years.
My last game at Jacobs Field was October 5, 2007. It was the ALDS Game 2 between the Indians and Yankees. I went with Emily, Karen, and John. Bugs attacked the Yankees, helping the Indians win in the bottom of the eleventh inning with a single to center by Travis Hafner. It was the most exciting game I've ever been to.
