I'm on an updating roll!

I'm still only on chapter six... I think. Moving on Saturday and unpacking yesterday and today have left me with little time to read.

I went back to the old apartment after work today and packed up the remnants, like the food in the cupboard and the things on the walls. I also got rid of the huge desk by taking it apart and carrying the pieces down to the dumpster. Kind of like what you'd do to a body if you were a serial killer. Except this was a desk.

I have cleverly inserted pieces of wood under the front corners of my big bookcase, so that it doesn't tilt forward. And little wooden cubes under the front legs of my baker's rack, which came with the apartment. I don't know what I'll do with it yet... maybe put plants on it? I'm kind of feeling optimistic about my plant-tending abilities. In the past, every plant I've ever had has died. I'm ready to try again though.

I still don't know where to hang my three autographed 8x10s of Indians players.

I keep getting closer to having things finished here, and when I do, I'll let you see it. Just be patient. :)
