I haven't been getting much sleep lately, and it's giving me dark circles under my eyes. But there's so much to do!

I've been packing up my stuff, with the much-appreciated boxes from Meri and Emily. I dropped off a couple boxes of things at Emily's, which she then took to her friend's mom's friend's garage sale. I don't care a whole lot how much money I make from it, I'm just glad to have it out. I love getting rid of things I don't need!

I went to the apartment this evening to pick up the keys and finalize things with my landlords. I'm moving on Saturday!

Tomorrow, of course, is Harry Potter: The Last Extravaganza! Meri is bringing a friend, and Elizabeth might be bringing a friend, and I'm the only one who has no friends. I mean, yeah, I have friends, but I've been realizing lately that my friends all live far away. When I want to go out and do something, who can I call up to go with me? Emily. Seriously, she's the only person who lives close by, and she's my sister! With anyone else, I have to make plans months in advance. In the past, I've talked about how I don't think of co-workers as friends that I would go hang out with. Well, that's changed a bit. Elizabeth and I have hung out a couple times - going to an Indians game, and to the Harry and the Potters concert. And there was that time when I was having a laundry/NFL playoffs emergency and she let me come over and do laundry and watch football. And now Elizabeth, Meri, and I, plus their friends, are all going to the Harry Potter party, so that's something. Anyway, I guess I'm saying that without friends living near me, I'm much more open to hanging out with co-workers.

How did I get on that tangent?

Anyway. I had been thinking that I wouldn't make the permanent switch to my new apartment until next weekend, but actually, I'm pretty sure it will happen this weekend. My dad, Emily, and Emily's friend Karen will be helping me move, and I don't really have that much stuff. Probably average for a one-bedroom apartment. I already called the cable company and they're going to hook up my new place on Saturday. Things are working out.

Now, I only wish that I could sell my broken record player and my chord organ. The guy who was going to buy the record player didn't show up on the day he was supposed to, and he hasn't contacted me since. I've had two people interested in the chord organ, and neither one has called me to set up a pick-up time. It kind of annoys me - three different people have said they want these things, and none of them have followed through. If they changed their minds, why can't they just say so?
