Let's talk about the weather
Dec. 1st, 2006 07:07 pmWeather is a hot topic on LJ today. Some people are all, "Ew! Icky cold! I hate it!" and others are like, "Yay! It's so cold! And it might snow! Yippee!"
For the record, it's a very blustery day, and I do not prefer cold weather. My toes are cold. It was actually kind of warm-ish when I left for work this morning, and I even heard birds chirping. It felt like spring was coming, even though it's still far away. I heard tell of the sun being out today, but I couldn't see it. Then by the time I left work, it was dark and cold and very windy.
I have worked six hours of my mandatory overtime so far this week, so only four more to go tomorrow. I'm so tired of being at work for so many hours! It's mind-numbing.
Alton Brown made some good-looking chocolate mint swirl sugar cookies yesterday. If I get in the mood to do some holiday baking, maybe I'll try those.
I miss watching baseball. 122 days until next season.
